Willie Nelson was inspired to mount his “On the Road Again Tour,” thanks to an inspired solution offered by his team after COVID-19 Pandemic forced them away from hosting his annual Fourth of July picnic this year. As a result, they came up with an outlaw Music Festival tour across America featuring every show as Willie headlines with different supporting artists on every date of his tour. This has become his touring vehicle over time spanning 17 cities spanning across North America.

Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead, who opened for CCR at Woodstock, Wolf Bros. and jam band darlings String Cheese Incident and Gov’t Mule are touring this year with Outlaw Music Festival; Los Lobos’ Elizabeth Cook will also make appearances at various dates.

Outlaw Music Festival, an iconic music festival that honors the rebellious spirit of outlaw country music that emerged during the 1970s and defied traditional country norms, features star-studded concerts throughout the US to pay homage to this rebellious genre of country music with its impressive roster that changes with every show. Outlaw Music Festival recognizes country as an artistic expression with performances in every state across America that pay homage to this distinct and varied style of country music with impressive lineups at each performance venue across its U.S. locations!

Outlaw Music Festival will return to Spokane this August 9 at ONE Stadium with Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan and John Mellencamp as headliners, while Brittney Spencer Celisse Southern Avenue are among other performers that will appear. View here the complete list of artists.

Every Outlaw Music Festival show stands as a testament to country music’s ability to bring people together across society. That spirit was on full display on Sunday night in Holmdel when the lineup included The Avett Brothers who provided equal parts rock and bluegrass; their “Live and Die” had melodic pop appeal while “Vanity” showcased Seth Avett’s electric guitar power chords for rock fans; additional sets came from Marcus King, Kathleen Edwards & Flatland Cavalry as well as Particle Kid.

Outlaw Music Festival will embark on its nationwide tour this October, making stops in California, Florida and Alabama before concluding its journey Oct. 15 in Pelham, Alabama. For a complete listing of dates and ticket purchases please visit Outlaw Music Festival website.
